Short introduction of the company
Eslite Bookstore is the Taiwan company is one of the largest retail bookstore chains. Eslite was established in 1989, first shop was located in Taipei. Eslite has a total 48 branches. And the store in Suzhou is the first branch in China.

The bookstores design is original. Although there escalators, we chose the stairs to feel culture history. Because beside the stairs, they list the most popular books each year.

Eslite has an incredible mixture of books, lots of them in Chinese but also have in English as well. The bookstore spread over four floors including cafe and shops with clothes. You can also get coffee or tea and light food there.

For book lovers
The books range from philosophy, geography, academy, travel, art, culture... They have almost all kinds of books. I even found a couple of Russian works in Chinese and English languages.

I prefer more books and less other stuff.
Nice place to read and kill time but not too special.
